Las Vegas is an easy day trip from Kingman, about a 2 hour drive each way on divided highway. Along the way you can visit the Hoover Dam and America's newest wonder the "Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge". The bridge crosses the Colorado River on the border between the US states of Arizona and Nevada. The bridge overlooks the Hoover Dam.

Arizona Highway Guides has a lot of information about the drive from Kingman to Hoover Dam. The visitor center for Lake Mead is on your right as you travel into Nevada. It is a great place for a short break and to take some pictures. This map will give you an overview of the area.
